Free indoor tennis program begins

The Co-op City Tennis Club, in conjunction with the New York Junior Tennis
League, will begin its winter early-morning tennis program on November
8th, 2008.
Dedicated young tennis players from Co-op City receive free tennis
instruction from 5 to 7 a.m. each Saturday and Sunday through March at the
Mount Vernon Tennis Center, 431 Garden Avenue. The program is open
to all young people between 6 and 18 years old regardless of skill
level. Loaner tennis racquets are provided. For registration

Community Board 10 to meet in Co-op
City

Community Board 10 will hold its next meeting on November 20th in Room 31
at the Bartow Community Center and the community is invited to
attend. The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Caregiver support program in Co-op
City

|
The Jewish Association for Services for the Aged is hosting a support
program for caregivers designed to help Co-op City residents who are
charged with providing care for a loved one who is unable to care for him
or herself. Participants share their feelings with other caregivers.
The program meets from 1 to 2 p.m. every other Tuesday in Room 31 of the
Bartow Community Center. For registration information, call Frank

Notice of lease renewals

RiverBay is suspending its practice of mailing notices of lease renewals
to shareholders by certified mail each month as a cost savings
measure. Beginning next month, this information will be published
well in advance in the Co-op City Times, as well as placed on the RiverBay
crawler and in the building bulletin boards. More details will be
published in next week's Co-op City Times.
