Department Description

    The Parking Facilities Department is responsible for supervising the parking needs of Co-op City residents. We assign reserve and regular parking spaces in the garages to cooperators, provide monthly pay parking passes to cooperators, provide hourly parking to visitors, maintain records of monthly garage parkers, cancel parking leases, entertain cooperator queries and provide advice and solutions to their parking needs, maintain order in the garages and parking lots, provide routine maintenance in the garages and parking lots, supervise the garage attendants, deposit cash receipts and provide the accounting department with bank deposit slips for said deposits.

     In February 2010, the Parking Facilities department published a list of garage rules and fines to ensure the  safety and cleanliness of the facilities.  To see this list, click here.
