Some parkers advised not to park on the Greenway

Cooperators with parking stickers for either Garage 5, 6 or 2 are being advised to stay out of the Greenway lot to make room for other cooperators who need the space. Management said this week that with the closing of the Peartree lot last week, more space is needed on the Greenway lot for the recently displaced Peartree parkers. If cooperators who have leased space in either Garage 5, 6 or 2 do not use the garages, but park on the Greenway, they take away spots from cooperators who need them, while their garage spots go unused.

Public Safety has been patrolling for garage parkers using the Greenway lot and are giving out warning notices. Garage parkers who not heed the warning and are found to repeat the offense will be towed and subsequently lose parking privileges. Garage 6 parkers are permitted to take available spaces in the lesser-used Garage 5, but will not be permitted to use the Greenway.

Garage 2 parkers must use Garage 2. The Greenway lot is for parkers from Garages 1, 3 and 4 only
