Department Description

    The office of the Ombudsman is here to act on behalf of the shareholders. It is the responsibility of the Ombudsman to gather the concerns of shareholders (their negative feelings about the housing company’s operations) and to report them to the General Manager. In this manor we will know what is not being done and then be able to follow up to make sure the problem has been handled.

    Working closely with the Cooperator Service Offices and the various RiverBay department heads the Ombudsman interacts on your behalf in addressing and resolving your issues of concern. We first ask that you go through normal channels and then, should you not be satisfied with a particular situation, you contact the Ombudsman.

    In addition to helping with apartment related issues the Ombudsman may augment CSO operations along with follow up inspections and quality control. Shareholders may contact the Ombudsman with recommendations about the grounds or other ideas which they feel may be beneficial to the corporation.
