Mission Statement

   The members of the Co-op City Department of Public Safety are committed to delivering quality services in response to our community's diverse needs.  We recognize our responsibility to protect life and property, prevent crime, enforce laws and improve the quality of life for all residents of the community.  We seek to build partnerships with all members of our community in an effort to maintain order while affording dignity and respect to every individual.  With faith in our society and honor in our work ethic, we strive to protect and serve with excellence and enhance the quality of life within the community.

Internet Mission Statement

    The mission of the Co-op City Public Safety Department's Internet presence is to expand its channels of communication beyond normal media.  We look forward to utilizing the Internet as a means of initiating communication with anyone wishing to learn more about our community and the Department of Public Safety.  By opening additional lines of communication, we will strengthen our working partnership with the community which we serve.
